Last minute gig

One of Berklee's fellow piano rockers, the always-lovely Neara Russell has asked me to join her with a solo set at Cambridge's La Luna Caffe (sic), on Mass Ave across from All Asia. Downbeat at 7, tonight. If you're around, check it out. :-)

So I Got Really Bored...

and I created a techno song. Actually I suppose it's closer to club/dance but you be the judge. It's called Save Your Lies and is on both the myspace and the purevolume. It was very tempting to put all kinds of crazy synths and effects but I ended up keeping it down to a three-piece instrumentation so the trio could play it. There's some eq and quantization issues, esp near the end but still, enjoy. :-)

New Songs 'n Stuff

Hey all-
The trio (Andy Rumschlag, Ellen Angelico, and myself) are taking some time off from gigging to work on some new tunes. I've been revamping some of my earlier tunes, and I've got to talk to Mauricio, our producer, about doing a short album. I'd like to have it out by March-ish, so keep your eyes open for news about that.
New tracks from the Berklee Sessions are posted! Check out John Says and Goodnight Bright Eyes, hit up the links below or to the right. I've got a few new ideas that I have to sit down and demo so look for those soon as well, after I run them by the trio for approval :-)

Welcome all!

iWeb decided to devour my web page, so I'm going to be using this as my new homepage for a bit.
All gigs will me mentioned here, but you'll want to check myspace and purevolume for the whole list, as they're booked.

From now on, gigs will be posted principally on myspace.com/mikelombardomusic
and purevolume along with tunes...
I recommend you listen on PureVolume rather than myspace.
purevolume doesn't compress the tracks nearly as much. :-)
